14 May Thriving in Place SLC – an Anti-Displacement and Mitigation Plan for SLC 2023
The city is working on a number of housing plans simultaneously, so if you are confused, don’t worry. I am really confused! The one we need to deal with right away is the Thriving in Place SLC plan which is an anti-displacement and mitigation plan. Please read through this, we discussed this one at the Sugar House Community Council Land Use and Zoning (LUZ) meeting on May 15 at 6 p.m. via Zoom. This was approved by the Planning Commission on July 26, 2023 and will go on to the City Council for final approval.. Here is the staff report. Because of the complexity of this proposal, I am including the Two-Year Action Plan, which may be easier to digest.
