27 Jul Marriott Hotel – Sugar House Center

We have received notification of a proposal to build a 125 room, 6 story hotel on the parking lot located east of the old ToysRUs building. This hotel is being called the Marriott Springhill Suites Hotel. Parking will be located within the structure accessible by Wilmington Ave with 
some limited spaces on a surface lot.
The applicant is requesting a Planned Development due to the modifications to the building step-back requirements for public 
streets along Wilmington Avenue where the parking garage entrance will be. Other modifications to the glass frontage requirements, occupiable street facing uses, and, public open space are being sought through the Conditional Building and Site Design Review process.
