Appeal of Planning Commission Decision for Windsor Court Planned Development at approximately 1966 S. Windsor Street – (The appeal was denied. Here is a link to the final report ) Lance Howell, the appellant and the property owner, is appealing a decision by the Salt Lake City Planning Commission that denied petition PLNPCM2020-00727, a Planned Development consisting of 17 units on an existing vacant lot. The subject property is within the RMF-35, Moderate Density Multi-Family Residential zoning district and City Council District 7, represented by Amy Fowler. (Staff contact: Katia Pace at (385) 226-8499 or katia.pace@slcgov.com) Case number PLNAPP2021-00063​.  This appeal hearing will be held April 8 at 4 p.m.  It is not a public hearing, but you can watch the proceeding.  This alleges there was some mistake in the Planning Commission process. UPDATE:  This proposal was DENIED by the Planning Commission. (They could modify their plans and come back with a new proposal).

Windsor Court is a Planned Development Application for a multi family dwelling at 1966 S Windsor Street.This will be built on one existing vacant lot with 17 uits.  The building would be apartments for rent, it would comprise 3 three-bedroom units, 10 two-bedroom units, and 4 one-bedroom units.  The building would be approximately 35 feet high on .708 acres.

This is a planned development due to lack of street frontage and setback modifications to the RMF 35 zoning regulations.
