I want to say Thank You for helping us raise funds during the Love Utah/Give Utah campaign. The volunteer run group really appreciates the donations and the vote of confidence in our community.

After 8 years of community advocacy work I have noticed that has spring approaches there seem to be some definite trends. One is an increase in car break ins. Please take the time to remove your valuables, lock your car and even consider getting the Club to protect yourself. The other trend is a rise in reports to me about this, that and the other. We all start noticing more things as we venture out of our hibernation.
I am happy to help people navigate the layers of Salt Lake City and get you all to the right folks and I very much like hearing from people as it helps me learn about your concerns. Yet, there is also a great app for your phone called “SLC Mobile“. This is a good tool to use to report non-emergency things to the city such as graffiti, garbage/refuse, burned out street lights, excessive watering, etc. These reports go straight to the correct department. Give it a try. More eyes on our neighborhoods make for a better place for all.
Finally, I want to report the return of our bike patrol. Lisa Adams confirmed that a dedicated bike patrol will be arriving in Sugar House on May 1st. These officers will be dedicated to District 5 and District 7.
