December 2016 Chair Report

GENERAL NEWS
Well the Holiday season is upon us, ready or not! Seems like we went from throwing football weather to boots and ice scrappers over night. With the Holiday season beginning there are great things happening in Sugar House. The Santa Shack, which has been a Sugar House staple for over 60 years, is back on Sugarmont Plaza and open for business. Check out the hours and days of operation on the Sugar House Santa Shack’s Facebook page. Shout out to Laurie Bray who makes it all happen along with countless volunteers.
There are many great local businesses in Sugar House and we are going to do our best to highlight them. Check out our Facebook and Instagram accounts to see a different local business every day. Please get out and support this Holiday season.
With all this movement to the 21st century, we should also mention our new Youtube channel at Sugar House Community Council. We have posted videos highlighting the great place we choose to live. Thanks to Amy Barry.
Because everybody wonders about the construction and development going on in Sugar House we thought we would include a link with all the updated information.
