We have received a Conditional Use request to build a detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) at 2156 S Oneida Street. The structure will be located to the rear of the home, in the southwest corner of the property. Parking for the ADU will be provided by existing legal, on-street parking along the street frontage of the property on Oneida Street. The property is located in an R-1-12000 Single-Family Zoning District where an ADU is listed as a conditional use. The process looks at compatibility, location, configuration, and potential impacts of the request. Here is a bird’s eye view of the parcel.

This project was on the SHCC Land Use Committee Agenda on June 20 at 6 p.m. by Zoom. We will compile all the comments to attach to our letter written to the Planning Commission. I have compiled all the comments with my letter, and you can read it here.
