We have an application to convert the existing loft space above the existing detached 2-car garage into an Accessory Dwelling Unit at 738 E 1700 South. The ADU would be 540 square feet and the existing building height is approximately 20’9″ to the ridge of the roof.  No changes to the exterior are proposed.  This needs a conditional use approved by the Planning Commission  before a building permit will be issued.

This will be heard by the Sugar House Community Council at ths May 17 meeting of its Land Use and Zoning Committee at 6 p.m.  If you provide a comment using this form below, you will receive the link to the meeting.  Here is the letter from the city, and the plans.
