542 East 2100 South (Izzy South)

This project, known as Izzy South, will be all electric apartments, and hopefully rooftop solar. It will be 71 units on 3 stories.  The site is immediately west of Uintah Golf. 40 studios, 21 1-bedroom and 10 2-bedroom townhome apartments will make up the building.  There will be a mirror building across the street.   The street frontage along 2100 South will provide access to 13 walkup units, and a parking garage entry in the center of the building.  The at grade under-podium will contain 58 stalls. an .8:1 parking ratio.  The west end of the building has three doors of retail space, which could possibly be a bar, coffee shop or restaurant.

We don’t have the official petition from the applicant at this time, but because of the large number of land use projects we are expecting, we are reviewing this project now.This project is undergoing design review with the city, so there may be some changes before this gets to the Planning Commission.
